Hampton Rec Invites You to ‘Go West!’

The Hampton Parks and Recreation Department, together with Collette Family Vacations, is offering an exciting “Wild West and Yellowstone Family Adventure” trip, featuring visits to locales that include the Grant Tetons and Yellowstone National Park.

An informational slide show detailing this unforgettable vacation opportunity is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 at a time and location to be determined. The trip itself will take place next summer, August 11-17, 2012.

Highlights of this amazing Wild West adventure include stops in Salt Lake City in Utah; Jackson, Wyoming (the “Crown Jewel of the Northern Rockies”); Grand Teton National Park; Yellowstone National Park (famous for its geysers and hot springs); Jackson Hole (horseback riding and a rodeo); and Blackfoot, Idaho (the “Potato Capital of the World” and home of the Pocatello Zoo).

Prices range from $1,599 per child to $2,099 double, $2,069 triple, and $2,549 single occupancy. Those who book their trip now can save $100 per person off the standard price. Prices include round trip air fare from Logan Airport in Boston and other fees including hotel transfers. An additional $165 fee per person for cancellation waivers and insurance applies.

A pre-paid option for a “Wyoming Balloon Ride” at $325 per person is also available. This balloon flight is truly an experience that cannot compare to any other.
