Hampton State Representative Chris Muns Appointed to State Retiree Health Plan Commission

Hampton State Rep has been appointed to the State Retiree Health Plan Commission by House Speaker Terie Norelli.

Hampton State Representative Chris Muns has been appointed by New Hampshire House Speaker Terie Norelli to the State Retiree Health Plan Commission.   The commission was established under RSA 100-A:56 and has responsibility for determining the actuarial assumptions to be used in the actuarial valuation of liabilities relative to state heath benefits; ensuring that an actuarial valuation report is completed by a qualified independent actuary and submitted to the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate and the governor on or before December 1, 2014; and analyzing and making recommendation on what the premium contributions for retirees should be. 

The commission consists of five members; one each appointed by the speaker of the house, the president of the state senate and the governor; as well as the state treasurer and the commissioner of the department of administrative services. 

Representative Muns was elected to the state house of representatives in November 2012 and has over 20 years of experience managing large employer health plans.
