School Board Should Lead By Example
A local parent calls for North Hampton School Board members to practice what they preach, and for resident feedback on an important board policy.

I attended the public meeting at the North Hampton School this past week regarding the Independant Evaluation recently completed and published of the Special Education program at the school. As some of you know this has been a hot topic in town as many families of Special Ecucation students have been met with resistance when advocating for their special needs students in attempt to secure what they need to be successful and confident learners.
I was impressed by the idea that a strong communication policy begins at the "top". Since the North Hampton School Board oversees the administation at NHS I am very interested to know what the communication policy for the NH School Board is? I have sent countless emails and correspondance to the NH School Board for several years now and I have yet to hear back one time. As we teach our kids to practice what we preach this truly should be a policy set by example. I hope you would agree.
Looking forward to your response(s].
