Sand Sculpting Contest Week Begins Friday at Hampton Beach

The annual sand sculpting contest festivities begin with a sand drop on Friday, June 17, and continue through Wednesday, June 29, which is the final viewing day.

The fun starts on Friday, June 17, when 300 tons of imported sand is dropped on Hampton Beach and the "Grady Bunch" starts pounding up the demo site.

The entire area is illuminated for night viewing through June 29. Watch Greg Grady and "The Grady Bunch" build a mammoth sand demo site.

View all entries online at this website. The competition, which is in its 11th year, is by invitation only. Interested Master Sand Sculptors may contact event co-organizer at www.GregGrady.com.
