Winter Staycation Cancelled Due to Low Response
The activities were scheduled for school vacation week.
UPDATE (3:20 p.m.): The Hampton Parks and Recreation Department has cancelled this year's Winter Staycation program "due to low response," according to an individual within the department.

Time is running out to sign up for Hampton Recreation’s very own exciting Winter Staycation program, scheduled for the week of December 26-29!!
Participants can enjoy a great series of fun activities designed to beat the winter blues during their annual school vacation week in December. All trips will depart from the Tuck Building.

First up is a trip to CoCo Keys Water Resort in Danvers, Mass. on Tuesday, December 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students in grades 2-5 will get to experience a tropical paradise in the middle of winter on this trip. Don’t forget to pack a lunch as well as your swimsuit and towel! Cost is $35 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
On Wednesday, December 28, students in grades 3-5 can rock out with Hampton Recreation at MetroRock in Newburyport, MA. This program will run from11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; additional paperwork is required at registration. The cost is $38 for residents and $43 for non-residents.
Students in grades 1-5 will enjoy Tuck “Winter” Camp on Thursday, December 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everyone will play summer camp games with a winter twist. Be sure to pack a lunch as well as snow pants, boots and mittens! Cost is $25 for residents and $30 for non-residents.
On Friday, December 30, take a trip to Space Center in Hooksett, NH, where students in grades 2-5 will play cool laser tag and arcade games. The cost for the program is $37 for residents and $42 for non-residents and includes laser tag, two slices of pizza, drinks and tokens. This program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; additional paperwork is required at registration;
