Did you know we have an LPGA golf instructor right here at in North Hampton?
In order to learn more about our Seacoast Golf Instructor in North Hampton, I contacted Laura Shanahan-Rowe earlier this week and asked if she would be willing to meet me at Sagamore Golf Center for an interview, and she graciously agreed. Although I do spend some time at this driving range, I had never had the opportunity to meet Laura and looked forward to this interview.
At our first introduction, I was struck by three things -- she is quite athletic, very competitive and much more at ease with a golf club in her hand.

Born in Lowell, Mass., Laura was drawn to sports at a very early age. Her earliest sports interest was baseball, and her natural abilities as a young athlete helped her become quite proficient at the game.
Unfortunately neither the American League or National League was likely to draft a woman player anytime soon, and Laura was still driven to compete and be recognized for her talents.

It wasn't until she was 20 that she was introduced to the game of golf, which she loved immediately. After all, the game is extremely competitive and requires dedication and conditioning, three of Laura's strengths.
