The Jumper Classic Begins on Wednesday!

Spectators can watch edge-of-your-seat entertainment while enjoying great food and boutique shopping.

The Olympic Games may be held across the Atlantic this August, but fans of the Olympic sport of Equestrian Show Jumping can see Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists and the sport's top riders compete in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire the week of August 8-12. The Jumper Classic, presented by Fidelity Investments and Audi of America, is the New England area's largest international horse show bringing all the excitement of Olympic Show Jumping closer to home.

An outdoor sporting event unlike any other, with heart-pounding jumping action on an all-grass Grand Prix field, begins on Saturday, August 11, with the thrilling $12,000 Speed Derby. During the traditional Family Day, hosted by 107.1 WERZ, there is fun for the whole family, with games, prizes and organized events for children. Admission is free for children under 13. For an extra special experience, enjoy a ringside VIP luncheon under the tents supporting a great cause. Tickets for the VIP Luncheon will benefit UNH Therapeutic Riding and New England Equine Rescue - North. A special performance of classical dressage by the Lusitano horses of Sons of the Wind Farm will entertain the audience during a break in the competition.

On Sunday, August 12, The Jumper Classic's feature competition is the $75,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix. Tickets are available online for the Wilcox Industries, Corp. VIP Luncheon served ringside, general admission, weekend passes for those who want to come for two full days, and the Farm Family Derby Bank seating with a sweeping view of the action. Spectators can expect a full day of entertainment, including a choreographed equine performance by New Hampshire's own Behind the Mask Friesian Theatrical Troupe and a live musical performance by Boston-area DJ and singer, Rich DiMare. With a garden party atmosphere and boutique shopping, you'll find unique decor and jewelry as well as one-of-a-kind gifts.

On Thursday afternoon, August 9th, visitors are invited to the SmartPak Riders' Tent for a Meet and Greet hosted by Langebec Wood Shavings to meet a panel of former Olympic riders and top international competitors.

You won't see Olympic level show jumping anywhere else but London and on television the weekend of August 11-12, so come to see it up close and live at The Jumper Classic! We congratulate this year's U.S.A. Show Jumping Team competing in the Olympics. Of the four 2012 Olympians, two competed at The Jumper Classic last year, McLain Ward and Beezie Madden. The show opens August 8th with classes for multiple levels of skill.
