Bridge Crash Victim Succumbs to Injuries
The bridge operator struck by a car Friday passed away earlier tonight at a Boston hospital.

Jim Hayes, a Seabrook man and a five-year operator of the Neil Underwood Memorial Bridge, has passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident after he got off work Friday night, according to a family member.
In an e-mail to Patch, a family member said Hayes passed away at 8:40 p.m. "with family by his side."
