Why are you seeking elective office?

To contribute to my community. If everyone picked up a scrap of paper or debris, we would live in a clean society.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

INFLATION/OVERSPENDING. Reduce or eliminate wasteful spending. Justify the need vs the cost. I am not only a fan of recycling, I am a big proponent of Repurposing.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have a lot of experience. I have been around a long time and have seen many successes as well as failures. Hopefully, my wisdom will help me to avoid making the mistakes I have observed.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

There is a distinct lack of participation. Many people who have served in this office do so as a stepping stone to higher positions. I am here to listen to my constituents and do my best to serve the will of the people with no desire to embark on a political career. The legislature of New Hampshire was intended to be large to offset a few people monopolizing the process. I intend to participate without allowing the lure of higher office to be a goal.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Most folks are capable of spending their own money. They do not need a politician to do that for them. My guide will be to do for folks that which they are not capable of doing on their own.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Every board I have served on has had my attention to the detail of its work. I have a nearly perfect attendance record. My contributions have saved money and been considerate of the use of tax dollars. I plan to continue that quest.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Make as many mistakes as you can, just never make the same ones twice.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

You will have my ear. I listen to the point of view of all those who wish to share it. Getting as much information as possible to make an informed decision is my goal. Sometimes a decision needs to be taken before all facts have been presented. I am open to revisiting a decision when the need arises. I will serve to the best of my ability, with the interest of my community being my priority.
