'Cairn' You Make It to an Interesting Gallery Event?
There's an engaging activity and visit from an artist this week.

Welcome to "Last Chance," a new weekly series highlights a fun, interesting or can't-miss event happening this week [Editor's note: Starting next week, this series will run every Sunday].
This week's featured event is an intriguing forum and activity at . Local photographer Ellen Gunst's work has been displayed all this month at the downtown Hampton store, and Gunst will visit her exhibition from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in order to discuss the works and lead attendees through a hands-on learning experience.
Gunst will be discussing "cairns" — an artistic piling of stones used by hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to mark paths or create monuments — and her photographic journey through the area using those structures.

After Gunst's presentation, attendees will be able to build cairns of their own using rocks collected by Gunst. More information is available .
