Connective Tissue Coalition-We Are CTC 5K Run for Research-April 25, 2026--a message from our Founder Jon Rodis &amp; Race Director Lynnette Stebbins We invite you to be part of something truly meaningful—a 5K event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for research on connective tissue disorders, such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, Marfan's Syndrome and their many comorbidities. This event is especially significant because we will be joined by four highly respected and accomplished doctors in the field, whose work is helping advance understanding and treatment of these often-overlooked conditions. Their presence underscores the importance of this cause and the real impact we can make together. We would like to thank Dr. Petra Klinge, Dr. Pradeep Chopra, Dr. Paldeep Atwall and Dr. Sara Strecker. Also, joining us is the accomplished author of the book 'Disjointed’ Diana Jovin, Co-Producer of the documentary Complicated Donna Sullivan, Chiropractor Brendan McCann and The Connective Tissue Coalition board President Jon Rodis. On April 24 (the night before the 5K) we will have a ‘Meet and Greet’ from 7pm to 9pm at the Ashworth by the Sea Hotel in Hampton Beach where everyone will have an opportunity to meet the CTC doctors and CTC board members and get to know one another. You can enjoy comfortable seating with table side service or sit at the bar where you can enjoy the best Espresso Martini made from scratch with our fresh brewed espresso coffee, a glass of wine or a draft beer like the Maine Lunch. We make fresh pizza dough 3 times a week. Every pizza is hand crafted using our homemade sauces. You can order one of our specialty pizzas or make your own from our list of ingredients - which includes over 44 sauces, cheeses and toppings. Our most popular specialty pizzas are the Margherita (red sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil), Nice Spice, (spicy garlic Buffalo chicken with mozzarella cheese and a ranch drizzle), Bad Larry “The Works”(our red pizza sauce with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, mushrooms and caramelized onions) Mr. Fun Guy (mushroom and truffle oil cream base with mozzarella cheese, caramelized onion and of course fresh mushrooms) and the Maserati (white cream base with bacon, caramelized onion, goat cheese and fresh mushrooms). We serve the best fresh steamed “black pastrami” (New York style) sandwiches around Portsmouth using pastrami that is made from the piece of beef known as the “plate cut”. No “deli pastrami” here, just real beef with real pastrami spices and flavor.
