Clinton to Focus on Small Business in Hampton

Democratic first-in-the-nation candidate will be back in the state on Friday; will also hold meeting with supporters in Exeter.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be in New Hampshire again on May 22, to “continue her conversation with Granite Staters about how to make the economy work for everyday Americans,” according to a press statement.

She’ll visit the Smuttynose Brewery in Hampton in the morning and meet with members of “the local small business community for a discussion on ideas to expand small businesses in New Hampshire, including cutting red tape for small businesses and entrepreneurs, expanding access to capital, tax relief and tax simplification for small businesses, and expanding access to new markets.”

Also on Friday, she’ll be meeting with activists who are working on her campaign in Exeter.

“When Hillary Clinton announced her plan to run a grassroots campaign she pledged to work hard to earn every vote,” according to a press statement. “Throughout the rest of the trip she will have additional private meetings and activities.”
