Community Forum on Heroin, Other Substance Abuse Nov. 16
The event will be held at Hampton Academy and is co-sponsored by the Hampton School District and Seacoast Youth Services.

The Hampton School District welcomes the public to attend a Community Forum on Substance Abuse on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, in the Eastman Gymnasium at Hampton Academy. The event is co-sponsored by the Hampton School District and Seacoast Youth Services in an effort to inform the public of an increase in disturbing substance use behaviors in Hampton and surrounding communities.
The forum will include guest speakers and interactive breakout sessions. Sessions will be facilitated by experts in the substance use field and breakout topics will include: the adolescent brain and how drugs and alcohol affect development; how to talk to your kids about drugs and other risky behaviors; and the facts about the heroin epidemic. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of our panel of substance use experts!
Please plan to attend the forum at the Academy from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 16. This is an important topic for our community and it is imperative that concerned residents join in this conversation! Please contact the SAU 90 office at 926-4560 to RSVP or for more information about this event.
