Cops: Rochester Man Solicited Sex with a Child

Hampton Police allege that Dustin Bortz tried to meet with a minor for sex.

A local man was arrested last week after allegedly trying to meet up with a child for sex after interacting on Facebook, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

Dustin Bortz, 21, of Rochester, was arrested on Jan. 29, 2015, on three counts of certain uses of a computer prohibited.

According to police, a Hampton student reported alleged inappropriate messages that were received on Facebook. A detective then posed as the minor and reportedly began communicating with Bortz. An arrest warrant was sought and Bortz was taken into custody after he allegedly drove to Rochester to meet with minor, according to the report.
