CT Rep. to Stump for Clinton in Hampton
U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro will attend Hampton Democrats Annual Summer Community Picnic on Saturday.

Hillary for New Hampshire has announced that U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-CT, will campaign for Hillary Clinton at the Hampton Democrats Annual Summer Community Picnic, “where she will lay out Clinton’s plan to defend and strengthen the Affordable Care Act,“ according to a press statement.
DeLauro, who is ranking member on the Labor, Health, Human Services, and Education Appropriations Subcommittee and a cancer survivor, will talk about Clinton’s plans for lowering prescription drug costs and tackling out-of-pocket medical costs.
Clinton pledged earlier this week to “defend against Republican attacks on the Affordable Care Act, as well as build on it with reforms that will address rising costs.” Yesterday, she outlined her new proposal to tackle rising out-of-pocket medical costs by lowering deductibles and copays, increasing transparency, and fighting back against excessive premium hikes by insurance companies.
