E-ZPass Lane Closed After Truck Hits Toll Booth

A Monday night crash has temporarily closed a Hampton toll lane on the Interstate 95 off-ramp to Route 101.

One of the dedicated E-ZPass lanes at a Hampton toll plaza is closed for at least two or three days after a truck struck and heavily damaged a toll booth Monday night.

WMUR has reported that a hydraulic lift stabilizer on the back of the driver's side of the truck hit the South 2 booth on the ramp plaza located between Interstate 95 and Route 101 around 10 p.m. Monday. No one was injured during the incident, and WMUR reported there was no one in the booth because it was an E-ZPass lane.
