Elderly Man from Maine Perishes in I-95 Crash
New Hampshire State Police closed lanes of the Interstate for up to three hours this morning during the investigation.

An elderly Maine man has passed away after a crash on I-95 in Hampton Falls on Oct. 15, 2015, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Daniel K. Alexander, 71, of Famingdale, ME, perished in the crash while he and an elderly passenger were in a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup truck that left the Interstate and crashed into the median.
Both Alexander and the passenger were sent to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where Alexander was pronounced dead. The passenger was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still being investigated and state troopers are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Trooper Shupe, NH State Police/Troop A at 603-223-8490.
Two lanes of the highway were closed for 35 minutes; the left southbound lane was closed for about three hours. Hampton Falls Fire and Rescue teams as well as the NH DOT assisted state police at the crash scene.
