“An Evening with Artist Peg Duffin”
“Lighthouses,
Seascapes and Lots of Trees” best describe Hampton artist, Peg Duffin’ s, most recent collection of original
watercolor paintings on display at The Art Experience Gallery, 17 High Street in Downtown Hampton. An opening reception will be held on Tuesday May 21, 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
This special evening is dedicated to the memory of Mary Petrowsky, sister of Peg Duffin. Mary was an avid art lover and collector who supported the Hampton art scene by her attending events and encouraging each artist with kind words of praise and gratitude for their work.

Peg’s current work expresses her love of the ocean and
lighthouses. To Peg, the presence of a lighthouse in a painting can signify how one can be brought out of danger to a safe haven by following the light. To learn what Peg has to say about “lots of trees” be sure to attend the gallery talk scheduled to begin at 6:30. Peg will also share her thoughts on the creative process and how working with
different artists over the past 20 years shaped her style. Many art lovers comment that she brings serenity to her paintings that is most remarkable.
