Mike Demers from Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) will speak before the North Hampton Energy Committee at the Old Town Hall. Demers will discuss an energy efficiency program that provides incentives for PSNH residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of participating homes. Through this program, PSNH will send an energy auditor to the customer's house to perform a variety of diagnostic tests to discover the
largest areas for improvement to the home's energy efficiency. The customer may then receive up to $4,000 to carry out the recommended improvements including hot water, lighting, and appliance improvements, increased insulation levels, air sealing, duct sealing, improved HVAC filters, and other improvements identified by the auditor.
Attendees will learn how to schedule a professional and comprehensive home energy performance audit at 1/4 of the cost. Additionally residents will discover how they can save 50% on energy efficient home improvements up to
$4,000.
The 7 pm talk is free to the public. Home made refreshments will be served.
The Old Town Hall is located at 233 Atlantic Ave. North Hampton, NH.
