Grand opening of the Charles Henry Turner Room and accompanying program will take place at the Tuck Museum. Paintings, furniture and other belongings of Turner will be displayed. Turner was raised in Hampton and made his living as portriat painter in Boston. He trained in Europe and the Boston School of Fine Arts. Paintings on displau show Hampton in the late 1800s.
