The WinterFest 2012 starts up with a yummy pancake breakfast provided by Billy Burns owner of IHOP & crew. Everyone is welcome to join us after the Community Pancake Breakfast with renowned magician BJ Hickman, Awesome Make a Face painting Karol Dipietro. Curious Creatures appear at the Centennial Hall all the while the Chili Bowl Cook-off is on next door with some excellent tunes by the Cedar Mt, Bluegrass Band. Competing this Year is last year Champ The Old SAlt, Bella Rose, Las Olas, Wilburs, Joes Meat Shoppe & TNt Subs. Come and choose teh BEST DARN chili- in the Hampton's! The Kidz Cookie bake-off tops off lunch as kids compete with their bestest cookie recipe.
Step outside for some fresh winter air and waiting for you are the Clydesdale horse drawn wagon rides. Back inside after the Creatures slither away is the Fairy House workshop. Bring along some of your own creative resources.
Then down at Dearborn Park, the goings on are broomball, Adirondack Human sled race, the Great Bonfire, yummy goodies and hot chocolate sold by NHS 6th graders, a heated tent and a DJ playing some rockin tunes.
