Old Hampton Tavern Walk

The Hampton Historical Society along with The Old Salt, The 401 Tavern and The Galley Hatch are planning a celebration of Old Hampton in the 17th & 18th centuries, along with the book launch of "A Meet and Suitable Person: Tavernkeeping in Old Hampton, New Hampshire" written by Cheryl Lassiter.

At each location costumed history presenters will entertain and enlighten walkers with little known facts of Hampton's tavernkeepers. Each location will serve a unique sampling of traditional colonial fare by professional chefs and spirit purveyors. At each stop participants will take place in a game developed for the event which makes eveyone eligible for prizes.

This is a 21 and over event. Tickets are $15 and available in advance at participating restaurants and the Tuck Museum as well as the day of the tour. Tours can start at any location. Ticketholders who dine at one of the three restaurants that day receive 10% off their bill, alcohol not included and cannot be combined with other offers.
