Farmington Man Arrested for Speeding, Drugs
New Hampshire State Police tag Ryan McCarthy going 109 mph on I-95.

A local man is facing charges after allegedly being caught speeding on I-95 in Hampton Falls on Saturday, according to a New Hampshire State Police press report.
Ryan McCarthy, 32, of Farmington, was arrested around 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 8, and charged with reckless operating and possession of a controlled drug.
According to police, the New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit was conducting traffic enforcement on I-95 on the ground and in the air. A state police aircraft reportedly clocked a vehicle going 109 mph in a 65 zone on the northbound side of I-95 in Hampton Falls. A trooper on the ground pulled the vehicle over and arrested McCarthy.

He was released on $700 personal recognizance bail and is due in Seabrook District Court on Dec. 18, to answer to the charges.
State police noted that the special enforcement unit “regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors. Its members patrol across the state often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire’s roadways safe for all residents and visitors.”
