Fish Market Makes Splash with 200+ Customers on Opening Weekend
Chowder samples and raffled crustaceans were highlights of the festivities.

The Yankee Fisherman’s Cooperative celebrated the grand opening of their on July 21 and 22.
The weather on both days proved to be outstanding with bright sunshine as they welcomed over 200 customers from all over New Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
Customers were offered a chance to sample a chowder made with locally caught fresh codfish and raffled off dozens of lobsters. On Sunday the market had its ribbon-cutting ceremony with Seabrook Selectman Aboul Khan, Sen. Nancy Stiles (R-Hampton), and Army Spc. Ben Smith of Rochester.

Yankee Cooperatives President Neal Pike and CEO James Barry were all smiles as the ribbon was cut at noontime with dozens present. The cooperative would like to thank the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce and Director Pat Morgenstern and the chamber members for making the opening a great success.
