Five Things to Do This Weekend: Oct. 5-7

A pig roast, an art walk, a beer fest and a music festival – there's something for everyone this weekend.

1. Wally's Pig Roast: Wally's Pub will hold its 7th annual Pig Roast & Bike Run on Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. Tickets are available at Wally's for $30. In addition to the all-you-can-eat food, there will be musical entertainment, prizes and giveaways.

2. Art Walk: The Hampton Arts Network Art Walk 2012 kicks off tonight in downtown Hampton and continues on Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m., rain or shine. Art will be on display at several downtown businesses, and outside at the Gazebo in Depot Square. There will be entertainment, contests and free trolley rides.

3. Discover North Hampton Week Begins: Discover North Hampton Week kicks off on Saturday, with more than 60 North Hampton businesses hoping to encourage residents to shop local. Visit any 10 businesses on the list, and you'll be eligible to win a prize. Discover North Hampton Week runs through Friday, Oct. 12. There is no purchase necessary to participate. 4. NH Brew Fest: The New Hampshire Brew Fest will be held Saturday at Redhook Ale Brewery in Portsmouth, with sessions from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Sample from more than 150 craft beers at the 4th annual event. Tickets range from $25 to $45 and are cheaper if you purchase them in advance.

Pawtuckaway Music Festival: The Pawtuckaway Music Festival will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham. Tickets are $12 for Day 1, and $10 for Day 2, or $20 for a two-day pass.
