Hampton Man Faces Stalking, Protective Order Violation Charges: Log

HAMPTON, NH — James Matthew Trantham, 54, of Hampton was arrested at 12:43 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2022, on domestic violence-stalking, violation of a protective order-subsequent, violation of a protective order, and breach of bail charges. He was also taken into protective custody for drug intoxication, according to police. Trantham was arrested after an incident at Larocca’s Motel-Apartments on Ashworth Avenue.

Robert J. Baker Jr., 29, of Seabrook was arrested at 10:11 p.m. on Oct. 14 on a conduct after an accident charge and a warrant. He was arrested at police headquarters on a warrant.

Liam Benjamin Degraff, 18, of Sheldon, Vermont, was arrested at 8:08 p.m. on Oct. 14 on driving or operating under the influence of drugs or liquor, transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor, and unlawful possession-intoxication charges. A 17-year-old was also charged with unlawful possession-intoxication. They were arrested at the Tri-Rent-All on Lafayette Road.

Chase Morrison Burns, 26, of Portsmouth was arrested at 1:53 a.m. on Oct. 13 on domestic violence, criminal mischief, and two resisting arrest or detention charges after an incident on Campbell Drive.

A 28-year-old Hampton woman was taken into protective custody at 9:49 p.m. on Oct. 12 after police were sent to Ashworth Avenue for a criminal trespass investigation.

A 17-year-old was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 12 on a driving or operating under the influence of drugs or liquor charge after a traffic stop at Mace Road and Anns.

Hector Xavier Mercedes Espinal, 20, of Manchester was arrested at 8:34 p.m. on Oct. 11 on theft by unauthorized taking, less than $1,000, criminal mischief, and two domestic violence-simple assault charges. He was arrested on a warrant at police headquarters.
