Hampton Man Pleads Guilty to 3 NH Bank Robberies

Jason Pratt faces up to 20 years in prison.

A Hampton man has pleaded guilty to charges that he robbed three Seacoast banks earlier this year.

Jason Pratt, 29, entered a guilty plea in U.S. District Court to three counts of bank robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit bank robbery, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Pratt robbed a Provident Bank on Provident Way in Seabrook on March 22, 2013, a Provident Bank on Lafayette Road in Hampton on April 3, 2013 and a TD Bank on High Street in Hampton on April 20, 2013, making off with more than $11,000.

Pratt, who confessed to each of the three robberies, faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and criminal fines of up to $250,000. He will be detained pending sentencing, which is scheduled for March 4, 2014.

The prosecution was the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in conjunction with the Hampton and Seabrook police departments.
