HAMPTON, NH — Hampton Police are on Fairfield Drive for an incident, possibly involving a fugitive from Massachusetts, according to alerts online. The incident was first reported at just before 3 p.m. by police on Twitter. Residents were being asked to “shelter in place,” at around 3:15 p.m. on June 8, 2017. Residents have been turned away from their homes since around 1 p.m., according to Jason Schreiber of the New Hampshire Union Leader.
