Help ID Man Who Stole from Local Christmas Shopper
A man stole a woman's wallet while she shopped at a local big box store for presents for her son.
Portsmouth police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say stole from a Christmas shopper at Walmart Saturday.
Police provided the attached photograph that they said shows the man, pictured on the left, and a woman he was seen shopping with.
Police said the man stole a woman's wallet as she shopped for Christmas presents for her son. The theft happened at about 1:30 p.m. at the Portsmouth Walmart on Lafayette Road.
Police said security camera footage shows the man and woman shopping with a boy believed to be 2 to 3 years old. They left in a gray or silver pickup truck, police said.
