High Wind Warnings for Rockingham County

The National Weather Service says residents from the Seacoast to Londonderry, Salem, and Windham can expect wind gusts of up to 60 mph.

A high wind warning has been issued for much of Rockingham County by the National Weather Service through this evening and possibly into tomorrow, according to online alerts.

A cold front approaching the region will bring wind gusts of between 50 and 60 mph through 11 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2016.

When not gusting, winds will be in the 25 to 35 mph range.

Moving inland, expect gusts as high as 40 to 50 mph, according to forecasters.

The NWS is warning of large limbs, small trees, and other objects that might be blown down. Scattered power outages may also occur tonight. Tall vehicles may also be buffeted by strong winds making driving difficult.
