How Can Forgiveness Help Your Business?
When you forgive you create space in your heart, mind and energy that can be used in more productive ways for your life and your business

Is there someone in your life who has hurt you? Is it time for you to let go of the hurt and what it is doing to you?
This week, I invite you to tap into a space in your heart where there is someone you could forgive. Almost everyone has been hurt by the words or actions of someone else whether in the past or currently. It can leave you feeling heavy, a victim, shamed or even guilty. We often persecute ourselves over and over again when someone has wronged us by reliving it in our thoughts, telling others about it, holding onto the hurt and pain. So the secret to your own personal freedom is forgiveness.
You want to forgive them, not to let them off the hook, but to give yourself peace. Forgiveness is your gift to yourself.

Forgiveness does not excuse what the other party did, it frees you from feeling anger, resentment, disappointment, sadness and hurt. Forgiveness offers you health, happiness and inner peace. In looking for inspiration for TappyBreak this week, I turned to my daily pages. On two days, I spoke of forgiveness - my own personal story written in third person. I share some of those entries with with you today.
Recently I spent time with my father in a way I never could have done previously because of all the forgiveness work I had done in the past. I was able to experience the unconditional love of being with him without judgement, reaction, hurt or disappointment. These two excerpts are taken from my daily pages written in third person.

What I have found for myself and with working with my clients, that when we move past the deep work of forgiveness, our whole life opens up in ways not possible before. Everything flourishes, including our work.
Monday, June 8. Once she forgave them for her brother’s pain, she had to forgive herself - this took much longer and was more difficult for she saw how she also contributed and had failed him.
Monday, June 15. Forgiveness - your gift. We forgive to free ourselves. It’s not easy, can take years, many levels, many layers, often entangled with so many other emotions, even guilt and shame.
She didn’t realize she needed to forgive her father until she was in her thirties. Before that she loved him dearly. It was actually in her forties that the deeper work of forgiveness began and the deepest of all in her first two years of her fifties. So many emotions, so much guilt and shame, letting go, facing her darkest truths, accepting her role, allowing her feelings to rise up and move through her.
Tapping, so much tapping. Many energy healings, soul retrievals and soul letters written. Physical pain claiming its space so deep and so strong, until finally, she was done.
Done with anger, disappointment, blame, self-loathing, guilt and wishing things were different - that he was different. Finally she could just accept him, her own feelings, their differences and just love him. Let him live his choices and let herself live hers, with peace. Distance helped.
Please tap along with this video and contribute to the collective energy of freeing yourself and others from what needs forgiveness. Share your stories, your experience with forgiveness on the event page before, during and after the live HOA (hangout on air.)
Remember, the benefits that you will receive are from tapping along with the video, not just watching it. Please take responsibility for yourself. Forgiveness work can be challenging. It is also very freeing. If you would like support in completely reaching a state of neutrality and love by forgiving someone in your life, please click here for a conversation with me.
In addition to tapping, energy healing, journaling, soul letters, and other healing modalities, I practice ho’oponopono often when I have wanted to forgive myself or someone else. Click here for that post, what it is and how to do it.
One book that helped me with forgiveness was “Get Unstuck” by John Seeley. It included a template for a soul letter. I have written several and so have many of clients. They have all thanked me for suggesting writing them since it freed them on so many levels. They watch their lives expand when they were able to forgive and let go. We often combined these letters with energy healing and tapping. When they were able to forgive, it became so much easier to focus on what was important to them from love and give themselves permission to say yes to that.
