Why are you seeking elective office?
I am proud to have grown up in the Live Free or Die State. My 9 year old daughter is my motivation; I want her to be able to grow up and remain in New Hampshire with all the same NH advantages that I had. A current State Senator told me before the 2020 election, you need the title to get things done. I want to fight for and get things done for the people of North Hampton.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The economy, rising prices and inflation in every sector. If elected I pledge to the taxpayers of North Hampton and the state of New Hampshire that I will oppose and vote against and all efforts to increase taxes. I further pledge that I will vote to cap or reduce state spending and tax rates.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am a person of action and I will use the title to get things done for the people of North Hampton. I value transparency, honesty, and integrity.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Representative Maggiore's voting record speaks for itself. He votes with the Democrats in Concord 97% of the time, most notably against parental rights, against cutting taxes, and voted for the Democrat income tax plan. Representative Maggiore has been our State Representative for 4 years and on our Select Board for at least 10 years. In that period we continue to have the same unresolved issues in North Hampton.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
• Protecting our US and NH Constitutional Rights & Freedoms • Parental Rights including Education excellence and transparency • Addressing the Fentanyl trafficking crisis
• Strengthening Election Integrity. Specific to North Hampton: • lack of cell signal / connectivity and related safety concerns • safe water and beaches • safer intersections and schools.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
• Served as State Representative in 2011-2012, Clerk of the State & Federal Relations / Veterans Affairs Committee • Former Vice Chair of North Hampton Economic Development Committee • Serve on Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce Board including Member of Public Policy Committee. • Continually seek ways to foster a sense of community, transparency and open dialogue.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
In everything, do unto others what you would have them do unto you.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I do not have political aspirations of higher office nor a career in politics. I simply care about my family and my community and want an opportunity to represent them in Concord.
