Local Student Graduates with Highest Honors from Providence College
Daniel Tosiano of Hampton, NH, will be graduating from Providence College on May 15, 2016 with highest honors and a double major.
Daniel Anthony Tosiano, son of Barbara and Marc Tosiano of Hampton, NH, will be graduating from Providence College on May 15, 2016 with highest honors and ranking 13 out of nearly 1,000 students. He earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in both Political Science and Spanish. In addition to his academic achievements, he played euphonium and trombone in concert band, pep band and jazz band for all four years. During his senior year, he spent a semester abroad in Managua, Nicaragua to improve his Spanish language skills.
Tosiano was inducted into Providence College’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society for Political Science, Phi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for Foreign Language, and Sigma Delta Pi, the national honor society for Spanish.
Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. The Catholic, liberal arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 3,900 students and offers degrees in 49 academic majors. Providence College has consistently been ranked among the top five regional universities in the north according to U.S. News’ America’s Best Colleges.
