Maggiore: Innis is the Clear Choice for State Senate in District 24
Former candidate says he is impressed by District 24 GOP state Senate nominee's integrity, character, and knowledge.

NORTH HAMPTON, NH — Local elections are about local issues, and supporting candidates that understand the struggles and concerns of the communities they hope to serve. I ran for state Senate because I wanted to make a positive difference in my community.
Although I didn’t win my election, I am still very much involved in the race for state Senate by supporting my friend Dan Innis.
I got to know Dan very well during the Republican primary. I am impressed by his integrity, his character, and his knowledge and specificity when it came to the economy and tax policy. At forum after forum after forum, Dan spoke passionately about how we need to make changes to our education system to make it more competitive and to raise the standards of achievement.

Dan’s business education, his tenure as both a dean and professor at UNH, and his proven track record as a successful local businessman make him uniquely qualified to address budgetary issues and legislation that will ultimately benefit each community with our district and the state. He speaks in details about how we can make our state more economically competitive and bring more good-paying jobs into our state rather than sending our best and brightest out of New Hampshire in search of a career. And Dan’s plans to address two of the most urgent issues facing our state, healthcare, and the opioid epidemic, demonstrate his insight into the complexity of the issues as well as his ability to offer comprehensive solutions.
The choice for state Senate here in District 24 is clear. Dan has the experience and character to serve us well. I’m asking all of my friends and neighbors, coworkers and supporters, to join me in supporting Dan Innis for state Senate, he’s the right choice.
