Manhunt Underway for Credit Union Robbery, Car Jacking Suspect

NH, Mass. police are searching for Michael Munroe and Rebecca Norton after alleged incidents both states during the last two days.

SEABROOK, NH - A robbery at a local credit union has now become a two-state manhunt for a Raymond man, and possibly a female accomplice, who allegedly may be involved in two carjackings in Massachusetts, too.

Michael Munroe of Raymond, is being sought by Reading MA Police for an attempted carjacking in the Home Goods parking lot on March 31, 2016. As Reading police continued the search today, Tewksbury MA Police released information that Munroe was a suspect in a carjacking at the Dress Barn in that town on March 30. Earlier today, police believe that Munroe reportedly crossed back into New Hampshire and now is a suspect in a credit union robbery on Lafayette Road/Route 1 near the Seabrook Town Hall. That robbery occurred at 10:50 a.m. on April 1, 2016.

Tewksbury Police now believe that Munroe may not be traveling alone. Officers alleged that Munroe may be in the company of Rebecca Norton, 29, of Prescott Road in Raymond. She has two outstanding warrants for her arrest (Methuen PD possession of Class A (default) and a parole violation out of Raymond).
