According to state police, at just before 1:30 a.m., a state trooper stopped a 2014 Toyota Camry for motor vehicle violations while it was driving north on I-95 in Greenland. After the stop, the trooper allegedly “observed several indicators of criminal activity during the stop" and requested consent to search the vehicle. Rodriguez – the driver of the vehicle – reportedly gave consent, according to Sgt. Mark Hall of the NHSP.

“During the search of the vehicle, (the trooper’s) narcotics detection canine, ‘Gauge,’ alerted to an illegal drug odor inside the console and dashboard area of the vehicle,” Hall alleged. “A further search revealed four packages of cocaine (approximately 130 grams) hidden inside the console/dashboard area of the vehicle.”
Rodriguez and Cosme-Collazzo were arrested, refused bail, and were held at the Rockingham County Jail. They will be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court at a future date.
