Massachusetts Man Arrested After Pursuit on I-95
Darman Rosario was arrested last night in Maine.

A Massachusetts man is in jail awaiting arraignment in Maine after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop on I-95 and racing through New Hampshire and Maine, according to state police.
Darman Rosario, 28, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested outside of the Ramada Inn in Kittery, Maine, at around 11 p.m. on Nov. 30, on a fugitive from justice charge.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, a trooper pulled over a vehicle on I-95 north in North Hampton for lane violations.

The vehicle stopped but when the trooper approached the vehicle, it reportedly sped away. The trooper followed the vehicle along I-95 until it exited onto the Route 1 Bypass and drove through Portsmouth while attempting to stop it. The trooper stopped as the vehicle entered Maine and police in Kittery picked up the pursuit and found the vehicle abandoned at a truck stop. Kittery Police along with Maine State Police asked New Hampshire State Police to assist in searching the area.
“A female subject was found hiding behind a dumpster in the area of the abandon vehicle,” according to Sgt. David Kane of the New Hampshire State Police.

At around 11 p.m., Rosario was located in the lobby of the Ramada Inn in Kittery, Maine, and taken into custody. He was held on a fugitive of justice charge. The woman was released from the scene.
