Massachusetts Man Arrested On Sexual Assault Charge: Hampton Cop Log

Newburyport woman arrested on domestic charges; MA man arrested on OUI charge after crash; 2 from Merrimac face trespassing, other charges.

HAMPTON, NH — Sean Datar, 23, of Acton, Massachusetts, was arrested at 2:39 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2022, on a sexual assault charge. He was arrested on a warrant at police headquarters.

Katherine Jean Wright, 26, of Newburyport, MA, was arrested at 6:09 a.m. on Sept. 18 on two domestic violence charges. She was arrested after an incident on P Street.

Kimberly Marie Gatti, 33, of Lowell, MA, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on Sept. 17 on controlled drug: controlled premises where drugs were kept and resisting arrest or detention charges. She was arrested on Lafayette Road and taken into protective custody, according to police.

A 52-year-old Seabrook man was taken into protective custody at 9:44 p.m. on Sept. 17 after an incident at the L Street Tavern.

Brett M. Lupa, 35, of Merrimac, MA, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. on Sept. 17 on simple assault, criminal trespass, resisting arrest or detention, and disorderly conduct. Maureen McLaughlin, 40, of Merrimac, MA, was charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest or detention, and disorderly conduct. They were arrested after an incident at the Casino Ballroom on Ocean Boulevard. They were also both taken into protective custody due to being intoxicated, according to police.

A 32-year-old Claremont man was taken into protective custody due to being intoxicated at 3:08 p.m. on Sept. 17 after an incident on State Park Road.

Jerrold Bowers, 47, of Athol, MA, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. on Sept. 17 on driving or operating under the influence of drugs or liquor, reckless operation, criminal mischief, conduct after an accident, and open container-second or subsequent offense charges. He was arrested after a crash on Ocean Boulevard. Bowers was also taken into protective custody due to alcohol, police said.

Gary William Graichen, 57, of Derry was arrested at 1:38 a.m. on Sept. 16 on a public urination or defecation charge and was taken into protective custody due to being intoxicated, police said. He was charged after a call for a report of public indecency at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and J Street. A 22-year-old from Derry was also taken into protective custody due to intoxication, according to police.
