National Sushi Day at Kume Japanese Steakhouse

Epping, NH – On June 18th, the world celebrates National Sushi Day, a day recently found in 2009. Sushi has been around since the early A.D, and was a way to preserve fish in Asia. The look of a sushi roll comes from the early technique that fish was placed in rice and allowed to ferment, then promptly throw away the rice after. Today, rice is a key aspect in sushi, and we most certainly like our fish fresh rather than not.

The Epping roll is hand-rolled with shrimp tempura & spicy tuna with avocado, wrapped in soypaper and topped with spicy crab tobiko and crunch!
