New L.L. Bean Outlet Opens Saturday

L.L. Bean's new North Hampton outlet will hold its grand opening on Saturday, with a visit from the Bootmobile, free ice cream and more.

The grand opening celebration will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the new store, located at 35 Lafayette Road (Route 1) in the Lafayette Crossing plaza.

The sign for the new North Hampton outlet went up on Tuesday, and fans are already getting excited about the new store.

On Saturday, those fans will have an opportunity to take photos with the 13-foot-high L.L. Bean Bootmobile, a larger-than-life version of the company's most iconic product. The Bootmobile is on tour celebrating L.L. Bean's 100th anniversary.

In addition to the Bootmobile, the grand opening celebration will include free samples of Muddy Bean Boots ice cream, kid-friendly outdoor games, and a chance to win an L.L. Bean kayak package worth up to $500.

L.L. Bean has 32 stores and outlets in Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The other New Hampshire locations include a retail store in West Lebanon and outlet stores in Concord, Manchester, Nashua and North Conway.
