New Seabrook NH Liquor and Wine Outlet Opens Tomorrow

Southgate Plaza's 15,000-square-foot location will feature temperature-controlled wine cabinets, iPads and larger inventory.

CONCORD, NH - Nearly triple the size of the existing store and situated in one of the busiest retail corridors in New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) will open its newest NH Liquor & Wine Outlet on Lafayette Road in Seabrook on June 9, 2016, according to a press statement.

The new 15,000-square-foot store, conveniently located near I-95, Route 1, and one mile from the Massachusetts border, will boast an expansive selection of more than 4,055 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits in a new and improved shopping setting. This new store will replace the existing 6,000-square-foot Seabrook NH Liquor & Wine Outlet (#41), which is scheduled to close upon the new store’s opening.

“As we head into summer, we look forward to offering Seacoast visitors and year-round residents great buys on their favorite wine and spirit brands at our new, conveniently located Seabrook NH Liquor & Wine Outlet,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “This new Seabrook store is expected to generate $9.2 million in annual sales and is an example of NHLC delivering on our commitment by continually investing in our stores while raising critical revenue for New Hampshire’s General Fund.”

This new Liquor & Wine Outlet, located at 380 Lafayette Road, will be positioned on the southernmost endcap of Southgate Plaza. With exposure up to 28,000 motorists daily, approximately 10,000 more than the current location, the newly-constructed NH Liquor & Wine Outlet will be situated alongside Market Basket, TJ Maxx, Sal’s Pizza, UPS, Five Guys and several other national retailers. While the existing store is located about a mile away on the same road, this new location offers several new benefits, including the capacity to house a much larger store.

The new store will feature temperature-controlled wine cabinets, wider aisles, high-efficiency LED fixtures and iPads for perusing inventory and food and wine pairings. With its close proximity to Interstate 95 and the Massachusetts border, the new Liquor & Wine Outlet is easily accessible to the traveling public.
