North Hampton Kidnapping Report Turns Out to be a False Alarm
Local police officers, NHSP state troopers investigate incident in town tonight.

NORTH HAMPTON, NH – A possible kidnapping case turned out to be a false alarm in town tonight, according to the deputy police chief of the North Hampton Police Department.
At just before 6 p.m. on July 17, 2016, police were informed about a possible kidnapping in progress. The reporting party provided a license plate of the vehicle and about 20 minutes later, it was found – and stopped – in town by the New Hampshire State Police.
“The occupants were interviewed and police determined that no kidnapping had occurred,” according to Steven Janvrin of the North Hampton Police Department.

North Hampton Police were assisted by the NHSP as well as police from Stratham, Hampton, and Rye, according to Janvrin.
Police are reminding everyone that if you see something, say something, just to make sure.
