Officer Involved Shooting Reported In Hampton

Update: The New Hampshire State Police and NH AG are investigating a shooting at a state liquor store on I-95 in Hampton.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office has announced that an officer involved shooting is being investigated in Hampton, according to a press alert. The shooting reportedly occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on June 13, 2017, at the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet on the southbound side of I-95 in Hampton.

“This incident is being investigated by the Attorney General’s Office in conjunction with the State Police Major Crime Unit,” Benjamin J. Agati, a senior assistant attorney general stated in a press release. “This is an unfolding investigation and additional information will be provided as soon as possible while still protecting the integrity of the investigation.”

The NH AG will update information about the case at 7 p.m. tonight.

Seacoastonline.com is reporting that officers from Portsmouth as well as Hampton are at the scene along with state troopers.
