Seabrook Elementary Students had a surprise visitor recently – Olympic Medalist Scotty Lago stopped by to visit and chat with SES students.
Assisting Scotty for the day was Bridget Brunet. She had the honor of carrying the huge box of stickers and autographed photos that Scotty passed out to students.

Scotty is an SES alumnus and was warmly greeted by his “old SES teachers and friends,” such as Laurie Dube, Barbara Preston, Shawn Valentine, Sue Dennis, Cathy Arnault, Betsey Ross, and Joe Mulkern.
Scotty recalled that he spent many of his recesses playing kickball with Mr. Mulkern. Scotty stayed at SES for the entire afternoon and visited classrooms, went out to recess with grades 1 and 2 and went to Phys Ed class with SMS Grade 8 students.
The SES students report that they cannot wait until their good friend and Seabrook Hometown Hero Scotty Lago returns to visit again at SES.
