This photo was submitted via our Facebook page by Diane Wake. If I'm not mistaken, it's her third appearance in Photo of the Day in the past week!
This time, her subject was not a gathering of turtles, or a bunny, but a simple iris.
"After the rain, comes the iris," Wake wrote in the note accompanying her photo. In that case, we'll likely be seeing a lot more of them based on the soaking we've experienced this week.
