Depending on your frame on mind, this weekend could be a good one for visiting North Hampton State Beach and the area's other sandy locales.
The weather isn't looking too promising and will be nothing like the weather shown in this Sharon O'Connor photo. But, as diehards and beach residents know, chilly temperatures and a chance of rain often lead to wide-open beachfronts and a good break for anyone not keen on jostling for blanket space with tourists.
