Photo of the Day

I don't know about you, but it seems like local photographers have been absolutely killing it ever since the Top 12 Photos of 2012 post has gone up here on Hampton-North Hampton Patch.

It's like local shooters were inspired to go out and take high-quality pictures, or felt like they needed a little photographic vengeance for not making the "best of" cut. Either way, it's made for some great end-of-the-year Photo of the Day entries — especially from first-timers.

Colleen Singleton, the daughter of oft-featured photog Christine Singleton, continues that trend with this breathtaking sunset photo. Looks like I'm adding yet another image to that Top 12 Photos of 2012 story...
