Westerback, a pilot, took this photo while flying a Convair 580 over the Florida Keys, and wanted to share this awesome aerial photo because:
The rainbow is sunlight being refracted by the water vapor in a cloud. It just so happened that the cloud was very thin, thin enough to see the ground below. That's what makes the picture stand out.
