Just like most things in life, many skills are easy enough to teach yourself through basic trial and error, although masters of their craft and individuals experienced in their hobby or line of work really have a special mindset that has helped them really hone those skills.

One example is a seasoned photographer's use of angles and positioning to get the most out of a scene. Christine Singleton did just that in the marvelous photo of Ocean Boulevard, the and Hampton Beach above, which is why I — a huge fan of doing whatever it takes to get the best possible angle on a photo — am really impressed by her latest work of art.
