While from a temperature standpoint it's definitely felt like winter at times this year — as Amy Kane discovered at a frigid North Hampton State Beach Monday — the visual signs are less obvious.

Take the beach, for example. The above photo, which is really beautiful, could easily have been taken during the summer and no one would know until they closely examined the treeline.

Anyone else have pictures of some not-so-wintery sights around in the area? What are some of the things that don't look quite right thanks to the lack of snow?
